The Tri-Valley Church is committed to supporting individuals, marriages, children and families by offering counseling resources that are Christ-centered.

Suella Helmholz, MFT

Suella is a professional Christian counselor who works through the LOGOS Counseling Center. She offers counseling at the Tri-Valley building by appointment. Suella is qualified to handle a wide range of counseling needs, including more in-depth marriage and family counseling. Additionally, she is trained in school psychology and is equipped to offer school assessments for children. Appointments can be made by contacting her at: 510-659-1887, or s_helmholz@comcast.net .

Steve Martin, M.Div.

Steve is the Pulpit Minister at the Tri-Valley church, with limited training in Christian counseling. He is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and offers individual, child and marital counseling for up to three to four sessions. Steve’s counseling focuses on: helping review and assess difficult situations; offering compassionate, Christ-centered direction; providing relevant tools and action plans; and, as necessary, making referrals for more comprehensive therapy.
